“Iqra” is one of the authentic and widespread traditions of teaching and learning Quran from the early days of Islam to the present. In this tradition, a reciter learns the precise pronunciation and articulation of the letters and words of the holy Quran by reciting the entire Quranic course in the presence of a teacher. The goal is to ensure that the words of Quran are preserved accurately and faithfully, passed down from generation to generation, and transmitted orally from chest to chest. Through this method, the chain of recitation is maintained, ultimately reaching the recitation of the beloved Prophet of Islam. This specialized course is expanding in various Islamic countries.
The participants in this course are divided into two groups:

1. Specific Audience: Quran Reciter, memorisers of the holy Quran and individuals with an acceptable level of proficiency in Tajwid.
2. General Audience: Quran Reciters, enthusiasts interested in recitation, even if they have a lower proficiency level, those who can enhance their recitation skills and benefit from its subsidiary topics.

•  Focusing the Audience on the Meaning and Text of the Quran,
• Avoidance of Unnecessary Additions and Side Issues in this Course,
• Sufficient Practical Exercises for Reciting the Quran Kareem.

The importance, position, and effects of Quranic recitation by a teacher and reciter for the learner are not hidden from those knowledgeable in the field. Mastery in articulating Quranic words, focusing on meaning in recitation, completing the entire Quran, improving the quality of recitation, harmonizing with the Islamic world in Quranic education, obtaining permission, and more, are among the effects of this educational method.

Doing the Tajwid placement test

• Establishing Tajwid rules in the mind of the Quran learner,
• Reciting the entire Quran in the presence of the teacher,
• Achieving accurate and fluent recitation through sufficient practice and repetition in the presence of the teacher,
• Receiving an international certification in Quranic recitation (Iqra).

At the end of the course, students will have an oral exam, and those who succeed in obtaining 70% of the test score will be awarded a certificate.
