DarulQuran Academy is excited to announce the opening of registration for its Specialized Tarteel Course for Women, starting in late April 2025. This course will focus on the detailed study of the eight essential maqamat used in Quranic recitation: Saba, Nahavand, Ajam, Bayat, Segah, Hijaz, Rast, and Kurd.
Over the course of 12 sessions, participants will learn the intricacies of each maqam, including the various tonal levels and transitions that bring beauty and emotional depth to the recitation.
By the end of the course, students will be able to incorporate different musical segments of each maqam into their recitation, similar to renowned Qaris, enhancing both the beauty and appeal of their recitations.
