The Philippines, located in Southeast Asia, saw the introduction of Islam in the 8th century AD by Arab, Indian, and Persian traders and merchants. In the early 14th century, Arab traders, educators, and Islamic preachers reached the islands of Malaysia and Brunei.

Muslims in this country, following Christians and among other religious minorities, constitute the largest religious minority in the Philippines.

According to published statistics, Muslims make up 10% of the population of this country, with a reported population of over 4.7 million individuals.

Most Muslims in the Philippines reside in areas such as Mindanao, Sulu, and other southern islands of the country.
In the Philippines, there are several Quranic institutes dedicated to the study, recitation, and memorization of the Quran. These institutes play a crucial role in preserving and promoting Islamic knowledge and values within the Filipino Muslim community.

A Quranic institute can have a significant impact on a Muslim local community by serving as a hub for religious education, spiritual development, and community engagement.

DarulQuran Academy is proud to announce the establishment of a Quranic institute in the city of Manila, Philippines, with the efforts of several enthusiasts of the Holy Quran in the country.

Necessary measures have been taken in this regard, including the engagement of local scholars in the Philippines and the provision of necessary education for the training of Quranic elites in this country.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that due to the abundant interest of the participants of DarulQuran in the Philippines courses and the plans have been implemented, and a Nashid group was formed in this country under the auspices of DarulQuran in the Philippines.

The DarulQuran – Europe and England Institute, the first specialized virtual platform for Quranic Sciences, has been actively teaching since 2011 in five different languages: English, Arabic, Spanish, French, and Dutch.
