Annual Online Quran Competition

Darulquran academy, one of the largest and most active centers in organizing international Quranic competitions, holds the RAB Award every year in different sections.

The RAB International Competition sees enthusiastic participation from reciters and lovers of the Holy Quran of all ages and from all over the world.

RAB Award, featuring sections in Tarteel recitation, Tahqiq recitation, Juz Amma memorisation, memorization of selected chapters of Juz Amma, memorisation of the first five Ajza, Quranic calligraphy, and painting.

Special prizes are awarded to the top participants in each section of the competition, including
sending in person and free of charge to one of the international competitions next year in one of the Islamic countries, in addition to cash prizes and educational courses.
The first RAB International Competition was held on July 16, 2022, with 160 reciters from 25 countries participating in the sections of Tarteel recitation, Juz Amma memorisation, memorisation of select surahs from Juz Amma, and painting.

The second RAB International Competition was attended by 166 Qaris from 26 countries.

The competition was held on April 3rd and 4th, featuring sections in Tarteel recitation, Tahqiq recitation, Juz Amma memorisation, memorisation of select surahs from Juz Amma, and painting.

The third RAB International Competition was attended by 152 Qaris from 36 countries, including Afghanistan, Algeria, Argentina, Bangladesh, California, Cameroon, Canada, Denmark, Egypt, Ethiopia, Germany, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kenya, Lebanon, Malawi, Maldives, Morocco, Mozambique, Netherlands, Nigeria, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Tanzania, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Uzbekistan, and Zimbabwe.

The competition featured sections in Tarteel recitation, Tahqiq recitation, Juz Amma memorisation, memorisation of select surahs of Juz Amma, memorisation of the first five Ajza, calligraphy, and painting.

Participation in the third RAB International Competition was open to ladies only.

The oldest participant was 61-year-old woman from UK, who participated in the Tarteel section, and the youngest was a 6-year-old girl from India, who participated in the Memorisation of select surahs of Juz Amma.

Of course, there was also a 5-year-old participant from Nigeria, who participated in the Quranic painting section.

The registration site was closed at midnight on March 10th, 2024 and each stage was held in the order announced, the first round on March, 16th and 17th, 2024, results date of the first round on April, 1st, 2024, and the final round on April, 14th, 2024.

DarulQuran Academy organized the Annual Online Quran Competition (RAB Award) to encourage recitation, memorisation, and application of its divine teachings in our daily life.

The aim is to spread the message of the Holy Quran while also identifying, introducing, and encouraging the best reciters and memorisers of the Book of Allah.

The DarulQuran – Europe and England Institute, the first specialized virtual platform for Quranic Sciences, has been actively teaching since 2011 in five different languages: English, Arabic, Spanish, French, and Dutch. Using modern software platforms and employing academic and creative approaches, the institute has established a successful and professional model for Quranic education. Currently, over 3000 users from 195 countries participate in online classes at DarulQuran, with more than 150 classes held each week in various departments and languages. The website offers more than 15 departments dedicated to Quran education and related courses, catering to children, teenagers, and adults separately.
