The writing of Quranic verses took place during the time of the Prophet Muhammad (S).
The term “کتابت القرآن” refers to the inscription of the verses of Quran using various calligraphic styles on different writing surfaces available during the time of revelation, such as stone, bone, palm leaves, and more. The individuals involved in this process were a group of prominent companions of the Prophet Muhammad (S). They worked under the supervision and guidance of the Prophet.
