Collocation is the habitual co-occurrence of lexical items. The initial focus of this paper is to provide a lexical analysis of the collocation of Mubeen in the Holy Quran. The study falls into two sections. The first is devoted to providing a theoretical background of collocation, its nature and types. The second section outlines six approaches proposed by linguists to account for the phenomenon of collocation. These six approaches are discussed in terms of the collocation of Mubeen in the Holy Quran to see how far they are relevant and efficient in the analysis of lexical relations in such a challenging text as the Holy Quran.
