Kids in the Quran Wonderland
The Glorious Quran will remain the only eternal miracle until the Day of Judgement. It is the Word of Allah, exalted be He, dispatched to His selected Prophet, Muhammad (S), who endeavored with all his might and main to convey and explain it to the whole world.
Reading and storytelling with kids and youngsters promotes mind improvement and imagination, develops language and emotions, and strengthens relationships. Sometimes you could read, and occasionally you could observe image books, sing songs or inform tales out of your culture or religion.
Quranic stories give youngsters a window to new worlds to comprehend Islam better. It allows them to research new thoughts and information about the Quran; without realizing it, they study precious lifestyle classes by listening to an engaging, thrilling story.
The Quran consists of 114 chapters of varying lengths, each known as a Surah. Chapters are classified as Meccan or Medinan, depending on whether the verses were revealed before or after Prophet Muhammad’s migration to Medina. The Quran, the central religious text of Islam, contains references to more than fifty people and events also found in the Bible. While the stories told in each book are generally comparable, there are also some notable differences.
Hence, the Quranic stories are reports of historical events told to explain and analyze the truth to understand them.
With all mentioned above, DarulQuran Academy will hold a new course on Quranic stories for kids and young adults.
We prepared the content of these courses with the aim of practicality, as the real reason for mentioning their stories in the Quran is to learn lessons from them.
We want our kids to know more about our greatest prophets and their lives, engagingly and attractively.
Kids Quranic courses have two semesters, and each of them consists of:
- Holy Prophet Stories: Every lesson teaches different aspects of prophet’s lives.
- Relative Stories: Stories are narrated based on the concept.
- God’s agnomens: concerning the prophet’s story, kids will get familiar with God’s agnomens.
- Kids’ songs with Islamic and Quranic content.
- Handcrafts
- Coloring books
Allah the Almighty said, “In their stories there is truly a lesson for people of reasoning. This message cannot be a fabrication, rather, ˹it is˺ a confirmation of previous revelation, a detailed explanation of all things, a guide, and a mercy for people of faith.” (Yusuf: 111).
