Mema foundation; a journey from Tanzania
Tanzania is a country in East Africa within the African Great Lakes region. A 2020 pew forum survey estimates approximately 63 percent of the population identifies as Christians, 34 percent as Muslims, and 5 percent practice other religions. On the mainland, Muslim communities are concentrated in coastal areas, with a large number of Muslims living in the inland urban areas, especially along the former caravan routes. More than 99% of the population of the Zanzibar Archipelago are Muslims.
One of our alumni is now a competent teacher at DarulQuran. This teacher is familiar with the management of Mema foundation. When we introduced our online courses to this foundation, ten talented men from Tanzania were willing to participate in our TTC courses, and it is the first time they are participating in an online course. Also, they are planning to improve their skills to become international elocutionist (Qari). DarulQuran academy is preparing to plan a comprehensive interview and assess their knowledge and proficiency.
Unfortunately, these ten gifted men cannot afford devices to participate in our online courses. Though, the good news is that our competent teacher introduced a philantropist Mr. J. C, who declared his readiness to buy all the essential devices for them, so they can fulfill their aspiration towards having a successful life and becoming a scholar in the Quranic and Islamic world through our academy with the aid of this noble philanthropist.
Furthermore, DarulQuran academy will take a further step and give a significant discount on the price of every course they will partake in. The primary aim of DarulQuran association is educating talented people and lending a hand in their learning journey. Finally, we are sure some form of noble aspiration, or even idealism, is generated.
With the aid of Allah and His endeavor, we anticipate a bright future for these ten gifted men to achieve noteworthy success in the Quranic world.
